 A message by the Founder

Pierre du Toit

Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities by delivering exceptional physiotherapy services within the NDIS, ensuring every rehabilitation journey is supported with consistent, high-quality care. Our vision is to set a new benchmark for physiotherapy within the NDIS by delivering personalised, innovative, and compassionate care that relieves pain and supports patients throughout their recovery journey—or in managing and living well with their conditions—empowering them to move beyond limitations and achieve their best possible outcomes.

Welcome to FITIO Physiotherapy. Founded by Pierre, our service combines professional expertise with lived experience to support NDIS participants in improving mobility and quality of life. After recovering from a major brain injury, Pierre understands the rehabilitation journey firsthand.

With a strong commitment to personalised care, he delivers tailored physiotherapy in the comfort of each client’s home, helping them manage their condition, relieve pain, and work toward meaningful recovery goals.

"I take pride in providing professional, compassionate care, rooted in a deep understanding of the challenges my patients face. Witnessing their progress and empowerment is incredibly rewarding."

Pierre moved from South Africa to Australia in the early 2000s, shifting from accounting to health care. He studied Health Sciences (neuroscience and physiology) and completed a Master of Physiotherapy at Flinders University. Since graduating, he has gained broad experience across musculoskeletal, sports, community rehabilitation, pediatrics, and hospital settings.

He specialises in neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal conditions, helping NDIS participants manage pain and improve mobility. His approach focuses on movement analysis to address root causes, supported by ongoing research and evidence-based care to achieve the best possible outcomes.
